Jul 8, 6:03am: What The Foot?!

As the genre for our 48 Hour Film Project, we drew Fantasy. Along with that came the following required elements that all teams had to include in their short films, regardless of the genre chosen.

Character: Luke or Laura Brown, President of a non-profit
Line of dialog: "I'm fixin' to get started."
Prop: A family heirloom.

After 5 hours of hashing around script ideas, we came up with a funny one. We started shooting around 10 a.m. Sat. morning and wrapped by 9:30 p.m. A few technical problems delayed the editing until about midnight. The final film was done by 5 p.m. and turned in shortly after.

It's short film, under 6 minutes. So watch, enjoy and rate our production.

Jun 14, 7:21am: every second counts when you only have 48 hours to make a film

I put my "Charmed Life Productions" team back together. This is our third year participating in the Greensboro 48 Hour Film project. I have some returning members as well as some new talent joining our team. The fun begins at 7 PM next Friday (6/20) and we'll deliver a finished 7-minute film by 7:30 PM on Sunday (6/22.)

On Friday night, each team receives a genre, a character, prop, and a line of dialogue that they must work into their film. So imagine creating a film from start to finish in just 48 hours--casting, writing, producing, directing, editing, adding music--Sound impossible? Well my friends, we're gonna do it again and it's a full frontal BLAST and WILD ride for two days.
